Abstract art is a form of art that comes fairly easily to me, so it has become one of my favourite art style to fall back on at the end of a day when I need creativity to relax. So, it’s no wonder that yesterday I was up again for a session of abstract painting in Procreate.

I did this yesterday. As it happened in the past, I started out with a brush experiment. I love to try out different brushes and experiment with different blush applications followed by the Procreate Liquidify feature as a starting point.

I’ve been feeling a little more adventurous with colours lately and love it. As if I start daring mixing colours to have fun with them more than before. I view this as a good sign.

To complete this painting, I ended up adding details on top of the fluid art. I had another idea for it but failed to execute it well, so that’s a challenge for another day.
