Hi there! My name’s Alex and I run Pretty Cosy Chai, a slow-paced and low-friction creative studio. I mostly focus on event stationery design, surface pattern design and fine art, often inspired by the beauty of the past eras. This is the brand’s blog. It is divided into two main categories: The Artist Diary and Events Planning & Decor.
The Artist Diary is where I go beyond what the studio does to also capture the creative making that happens behind the scene – crocheting, hand-sewing and writing – and muse over the things that I cherish (self-care, low-friction creative business, etc) or experiment with my Ninja Speedi in the kitchen. The Event Planning & Decor category is for those of you looking for event planning and decor tips and ideas. This category is for the everyday host and home decorator. Maybe a host who’s shopping for ideas as to how she can improve how she plans family parties or a home decorator looking for themed curations to save time. If you’re new to party hosting and home decorating or are a seasoned party host and decorator in need of a little help to take your confidence to the next level, this is the category for you.
